Had a chance to hit a couple recently. Very nice feel to them. Soft but not too soft. Easy to direct.
Definitely will use over the winter in Florida

I tried a sleeve last weekend and they were very nice. Good distance and great feel.
  5. I played them. I really like the feel of them off the driver. I am getting a little older so my swing speed is not where it used to be. I got great distance and really enjoyed the spin off the wedges.

So are these a new addition to the Titleist ball line or are they a new version of the DT TruSoft?

The red lines make it look like a range ball. Probably not the best look...

I’m with Ralph. Those red lines aren’t the best look for a golf ball. I don’t think I’d like those as a visual standing over a shot.
  9. you know ive used prov1 and dt's for a very long time. I like the red lines on truefeel ball for putting alignment and much less destracting than chrome trutrack balls
  10. I just received a sleeve today from TT and will be putting them to use this weekend.

What did you think about them?
  12. Got good distance off the tee. I’d be a more consistent user of these
  13. I bought a couple sleeves of the TruFeel balls last week and played them yesterday. I found them to be a great feeling ball that gives me good distance. At 71+yrs. old my game is not the kind that having a ball that backs up is a big thing. On a few of the short iron/wedge shots into the green the ball seemed to stay right near the divot mark. It did run out a bit on my hybrid shots, but I tend to flight them low-ish so they will run. The feel on chips and putts is very soft which I like a lot. I noticed that on less than perfect hits the ball still gave me good distance (for my game). As for the alignment lines, I found that they did not distract me at all. I don't know how to read greens very well. I can generally tell the direction the putt will break, but not how much, so using the lines is something I have never done. I did not notice the lines on fairway shots and on drives, you can turn the ball so that you don't see them. I would recommend this ball highly. Based on the color of the box (red) and the name (TruFeel) , I believe that this is the next generation of the DT SoLo/TruSoft line. I paid $9.00 for a 4-ball bonus pack, so based on that I think that the price point will be in the mid $20 range which is what the previous generations cost. So if you are a mid hdcp player (I'm at 14) and like a softer feeling ball that doesn't cost an arm and a leg this is the ball for you.

    Fairways and greens to all.

  14. You " bought" some?? Pre-release???
  15. Don,

I finished at 1st low net in my flight for a senior league tourney which got me a $15 gift certificate to the pro shop. They had a lot of Titleist balls so I asked them if they had the new TruFeel (after seeing the thread here). The clerk pointed to a display that had these so I added $3 and bought 2 of the 4 ball bonus packs at $9.00 each. I can't speak for the pre-release but that's what happened.

The course I work at has them for sale also in special 4 ball sleeves.
  17. Excited to receive a sleeve on the mail today from TT. I will be putting them to test tomorrow!!
  18. That alignment logo looks really good. Might help a lot of people line it up. I like the trusoft so it will be interesting to see what this ball is like.
  19. is this ball good for a senior that has a slower swing speed and what is the compression of this ball

I am 65, picked up sleeve at my course, on a lark. I am hooked. Like the feel off of my driver, plus it is going very well. Also the flight of my irons, comes off the club higher sooner, is great. the feel is near to my ProV1's. Nice feel off the putter, rolls as true as I can make it :-).
My course has left the rough grow up to be similar to a links style, slight off line shots getting lost in 2 foot high grasses, lost too many V1's, so the price point is good. still play the V1's on other courses, just a matter of I still have the most confidence in them.
  21. how does it compair to the Wilson Duo Soft for distance off the tee
  22. I just received a free sample of yellow one to try, I cant wait :)

I got my free samples a couple days ago. Will try them on the course next week. Chipping and pitching around the backyard, they feel very soft. Launches high with a wedge. The coating almost feels "sticky".
  24. Haven’t tried them yet. Looking forward to trying them out.
  25. just got my first Titleist email advertising to try a sleeve but the email never followed up and I feel 'suckered' into subscribing into everything else but the original request; forget it! Very happy wkith Bridgestone/MG/Vice or Taylor made. jjbambrose at Yahoo.
  26. I like the way the avx feels and seem to get better distance out the drives & wedges!?!
  27. I’ve played a titleist ball for as long as I can remember!! I like the way it reacts on my drives & putting! I’ve played other balls but always came back home! Now that I’m playing the avx yellow I like them.

I wish Titleist did a better job at comparing their ball product lineup, especially when introducing new items. I just read what they have on the site for these, and then went back and looked at the description for all the ball, and every one uses the words “soft feel”.

They really never did, just renamed it. The Tour Soft is pretty much the same ball in composite, feel, and performance. Just blended the NXT Tour and NXT Tour-S versions. Same price category too.
