Have been playing pro v1 for a while now. Was skeptical on the pro v1x, due to always feeling like I had to keep things the same but finally made the switch due to a lot of release in the ball getting on the green, rather than spin. Really excited to try them out. Any others out there that have made the switch with hopes of more spin when approaching and holding the greens?

I made the switch a couple of years ago. I always liked the softer feel of the ProV1, especially putting but after a thorough ball testing event at Pinehurst during the Vokey outing, it was clear I needed to change. It took me a couple of months to get comfortable putting and chipping but glad I did it. Much better for the rest of my shots.

I did with the 2019 release. The steeper angle of descent also helps hold greens. I also like the firmer feel. The feedback of a solid hit is unmistakable.
  4. I normally play the pro v1 but am happy playing the pro v1x as well
I can generate spin with either ball

I love the amount of spin I am able to get with the ProV1X. I haven't tried this year's ball yet but I will soon. I can't wait!
  6. I always played Pro v1 but when i got my new t100s irons fitted they fitted me with the pro v1x which i now love

I have enjoyed the Pro V1x left dash. It is a great golf ball.
