Found a yellowish-green ball late yesterday, and ended up playing with it towards the round’s end (my white ball was getting harder to see.). It is a “Titleist VG3.” Perhaps it was an anomaly, but it seemed like it was at least 30 yards longer with my driver and ten-to-twenty yards longer with my 3W off tee(s) and not at all bad on touch shots. Typically find 20+ balls a week in my woods (along a golf course’s Par 5) and, as a consequence, I have hit just about every ball (including Titleist) or so I thought, but this is a new one on me.

I absolutely love this ball. Can’t find much info on the Internet beyond it was made for the Japanese market. Anyone else have experience with this ball? Doesn’t seem readily available beyond E-Bay. Any chance Titleist will market it in the USA? If not, is there another Titleist ball with similar characteristics that I may have missed over the years?
