Recently submitted review of a test golf ball from Titleist. Will they at a later date advise as to what ball it was? I have been playing the AVX the last few years.

Based on previous experience, you will not get a personal update. Hopefully you have one left to compare to the next AVX release to see if your sample is a final design. Part of the mystery is to not give competitors a heads up on which test ball is moving forward.

I have a different experience than Don. I have tested and gotten an update with a sleeve of the balls that were tested. So I guess, we will see

There are multiple levels of testing. There are balls early in the cycle that are still prototypes. On those occasions I got a sleeve of A balls and another of B balls. Never heard back.
It’s been a few years since I last got picked, so there may be changes in the process. At Streamsong, the red number and the black number Test balls were not well blinded. Production of the ‘23 version balls was already starting. But helped my comfort level which to pick in th buy3 - get 4 deal.

Getting Test Balls is best part of Team Titleist. I keep at least one (as long as I don't lose them!) in my desk caddy. They're always a conversation piece in the office!!!

It ranks third for me, first being to have lasting friendships by meeting other TT members and staff at events, second being able to share on this forum, and third would be the opportunity to test and give feedback.

I’ve always enjoyed getting test golf balls. I play AVX, and assume that it’s the new prototype I’m testing. Good idea to keep one to compare when the new model is released. One time I received the test balls in December. Hard to test a ball with 2 feet of snow on the ground.

Those of us who attended the TTI event at Streamsong in FL last fall got test balls. They were the 388 and 348 balls and do not recall getting a sleeve of the new 2023 Prov1 or Prov1x balls when they were released. Updates were shared on a common thread on this site. Was interesting with some guessing what balls they were. Titleist compiles all the replies and important that everyone respond. Hakuna matata.
  9. Quick Question. How can a person be included in testing the new golf balls?

But to set expectations, there are significantly more people that sign up than the amount of testing Titleist will do so even after you sign up, it is no guarantee that the random selection of test sleeves will show up at your mailbox.
