    I was going to order a TVD CC 52M wedge before the new year and now I see they are only available in the TVD SM4. Can someone tell me the difference? Is the SM4 a better wedge? Does it still have the M grind?

    The new TVD SM4 wedges have grooves that have been completely re-engineered by Bob. After testing with both Tour players and amateurs, he developed new grooves that impart about 1000 more rpms than his first generation "CC" wedges. He also deveoped a new "heat treatment" that will prolong the life of the grooves. The grinds are the same as the CC grinds. These new wedges have been very popular on Tour and many of players including Rory McIlroy, Steve Stricker, Bill Haas, Geoff Olgilvy, Kevin Na, Zach Johnson, Adam Scott Gary Woodland and others have already switched.
