Got rid of a fairway wood and hybrid I don't really need and traded them and $40 cash for a 58-04. I had an older Vokey 60-04 I took along for the ride at one of the courses a couple years ago because my CG15 DSG 58 and 64 didn't quite do it for me on tight lies and a certain golf course; the 60-04 worked great on some of thos courses but sort of dug a hole to China on some of the better kept courses. I have a 50-08, 54-11 and 62-07 in my current arsenal. So who has used the 58-04? I've had a 258-12 Tour Chrome and used it exclusively for shots from 50 yards in about 5 years ago. Also had a SM c-c 58-12 but didn't really like it (not good in wet or hard bunkers and had to do a digging shot, for the most part). For those that are curious about a 58 wedge, I'll give some feedback soon.

So far so good. Gets under the ball nicely. Just have to do some more torture testing and one thing it does rather well: sidehill lie ball above the feet a bit.

It is a terror around the greens. Took it to Adm Baker this AM. Did the wet bunker, the clubhouse practice green with some tight lies and mounds, the soft bunker and small practice green by the driving range. This works well in varying conditions.
