Vokey is now offering Hand Ground wedges per the Titleist Blog.
One more reason to upgrade wedges.

If I wanted to get one, I can only get a 58, or 60 degree wedge? So basically, I can only have a lob wedge, and not a pitching or sand wedge?

I love the ability to get such a customized product, but CK is right. Three times the cost of a standard wedge is a huge stretch. If a green grass wedge fitting were included, that would make a big difference. The other thing that has bothered me for years is that the Vokey line has a greater market share than Cameron, yet Scotty gets everything possible made in the United States, including headcovers.. The Wedgeworks and Hand Ground wedges should be made from USA blanks. It would be a great source of pride to me to order a Vokey with a big flag sticker on it and "Made in USA" stamped on the head.
A note to fellow Team Titleist members: I can't fault Titleist or other USA based manufacturers for having their components made in China. The federal and state governments have taxed and regulated them to the point that adjustments had to be made just to stay in business. I'm amazed they haven't moved out of California to a more business friendly state.

First off Im glad that Vokey is offering something like this but I agree with ck as well. I'm not dropping 350 on a wedge even if all the customization i want is included. And how are us amateurs, whom I'm assuming this is marketed to, supposed to know if we'll benefit from a pre worn trailing edge or whatever without getting fitted, and I think its safe to say that when you go get fitted for Vokey wedges they don't have hand ground options to try, just the standard m, k etc.
Secondly I think its unfortunate that this is the only way us mortals are able to get a factory raw wedge, Titleist knows full well what people want and things like this make it more difficult for us to get it because of the whole hand ground thing. I want a raw wedge because i think it looks great, but i really don't need to show off that it says hand ground stamped on the hosel, or that Da Voke hand ground it (even though that part ill admit is cool).
I would love to see the raw finish offered as a standard wedge work exclusive with all the regular personalization options, after all its already 160 before we even get into custom shafts and stamping.
Guess Ill stick with my plan to order one of the other wedge work exclusives as it looks like raw will be out of reach for another time around.
