I have been a Titleist loyalist for 10+ years now. For some reason my buddies have all played other brands of clubs. I'm proud to say that over the years they have slowly started to put Titleist clubs in their bags. It started with wedges, whether it was after using mine for some goofing around or me talking them into it. The next was a buddy picking up a Scotty putter. Most recently it has been drivers and woods. Last year I picked up a new 910f and my buddies raved about how great it looked and sounded, and they were even more impressed with my added distance. This year I picked up a new 910 D3 when they went on sale. That was the tipping point. One of my buddies fell in love with it after I let him hit it and he bought one less than a week after I did. A few weeks later his dad came to visit and we played a round at a local course. During the round he hit both of our new 910s and he too fell in love. The added distance, accuracy, and improved ball flight was too much to resist. He literally bought one immediately after our round. Finally, another buddy has been so impressed with my tee balls that he has been hunting for a 910 D3. Perhaps it was watching me win long drive at a recent scramble event or the recently longer cart ride between his tee shot and mine, but tonight he texted me that he found one, at a great price, and was joining the club.
The next target is my dad who is still gaming some ancient PingZing 2 irons and a hodge podge of non-Titleist woods. Wish me luck!
