This has been a crazy summer. Sold my aging set of png Zing copperheads for a set of cally hybrids, could not predict where the ball was going to end up with those cally's. So I decided to get back to my roots in golf club design and got a set of Titleist muscle backs, MB-712 with steel shafts. My pro has been trying to get me to change my grip from strong to what he calls proper. So through the initial practice session with the new clubs I tried to get used to the proper grip. Amazing is all I can say. I was getting good distance and excellent accuracy with these new clubs and a proper grip. With confidence running on high I hit the course and scored a 78 on a par 70. Thanks to these Titleist irons I had a memorable day. Hopefully todays round will be just as good.
