I was recently playing a course with a sandy/rocky waste area around some of the greens. Needless to say I missed one of those greens and found myself looking at about a 15 yard pitch. After selecting my 56 vokey, I struck a rock that was hidden from my view. The result is a pretty small but deep gouge in the sole of my club. Can I grind it down to at least smooth out the jagged edge? Will this rust faster (tour chrome)? Anything to keep in mind when I try?
