712u graphite or steel

    I am considering buying a 712u 2 iron to replace a hybrid on windy days.. I have a 113mph driver swing speed, 92mph 6 iron swing speed. I play cbs with project x pxi 6.0 shafts. Should i get the 712u with project x pxi shaft, or a graphite shaft? I believe the graphite will be a higher launch, but is that really a bad thing for a 2 iron..? Any help would be great, thanks!

    Nick, 

    You could go either way.  The graphite option usually does allow you to have a higher flight, but will feel significantly lighter then your other irons.  I have the same shaft in my 712U as I do in my irons.  I like the feel, and the transition to the 712U from my irons is very consistent.
