Finally got to go out yesterday and use my new 712 AP2 irons. This is my first set custom fit and what a difference! I have a pretty unusual set up ( im 6'5" and play 2 degrees flat and 3/4" long) so no wonder my old standard length and lie irons caused problems.

First nine was mixed results. for 4 years I had to contort my swing so much to compensate that when I got clubs I didnt have to minupulate my comfortable swing didnt feel comfortable. After going back to the driving range for a hundred balls on the range I got it dialed in alot more. only had time for 5 more holes before dark but had birdie, par, bogey, par, birdie and prabably the best 5 holes I have played ever! Stuck approach shots from 165, 195, and 115 within 15 feet of the flag ( ive never been that accurate).

I am so excited to go out again sunday and play a full round. Thanks so much to Titleist for making such a great iron for even us mid to uppper handicappers. hoping to get mine down to around 10. My local fitter did an awesome job and couldnt be happier. Ready to replace the rest of my driver, fairways, and hybrid through the winter.

I got my new set of AP2's today and shot a 74, about my average lately.  Was playing a set of '13 Cally x forged irons, hitting the AP2's a little higher and longer, I'm sure I can get the flight down a bit with practice.  Felt so solid and comfortable, I think I'm really gonna like these irons..

Congrats on the first round results. Two winters ago, I made a complete overhaul of my bag, going to AP2 irons and 910 driver, woods and hybrids.  While it took me a little longer to work things out, I've just completed my most successful season in our men's club, including the club championship.  I've recently switched to the 913 D3 and can only say WOW!

Enjoy the confidence Titleist clubs will give you. Whether you're a touring pro or a weekend warrior like myself, Titleist breeds champions.
