AP2 714 Order

    I recently ordered a set of AP2 714 irons (2 degrees upright) from Austad's in Omaha on 5/28/15. The sales rep who sold me the irons told me that my order should arrive within 2 weeks (6/11/15). I called Austad's on the 11th when I had not heard back, and the sales rep informed me that the shipping date for the irons had been pushed back to 6/15/15. I called again yesterday to check on the irons, and the sales rep told me that the shipping date had been delayed again to 6/18/15. I am playing in a golf tournament this Friday and was really hoping to use the new irons. Could someone please explain to me what is going on with my order?

    Did they give you a reason for the delay?  Sometimes on special orders, shafts maybe on backorder and that could delay them.

    I was told that the heads were on back order. The irons still have not been shipped and its now been over 3 weeks. This has been a very frustrating experience.
