Seeing as I am only 20, my budget is kind of tight.  I've had my eyes on the 714 AP2 irons, but have recently realized that the cost made them unattainable for me.  Instead I purchased a used set of 710 AP2 irons in very good condition.  My iron set before these were the cally RAZR Black irons, which I enjoyed hitting.  The impulse buy on the Titleist irons was solely to complete my Titleist set.  The first thing I noticed when hitting my new irons was a instant increase in both accuracy and feel.  My problem is that im losing 10 to 15 yards with each of my irons.. Anyone else go through a similar scenario? How did you compensate? Can you get the clubs bent to be stronger? HELP

Those RAZR irons are bent one to two degrees stronger and you will hit them farther. Take you Titleist to a fitter and he can bend them for you. There is a limit as to how many degree he can bend them without putting too much stress on them and potentially damaging the clubs.

Would the used condition of the irons make them more likely to break while having them bent?

Go see a reputable fitter and have him look at them.  He is an expert in this area.   Forged clubs have a little more flexibility.  Good luck.

I bought the 710 AP2 too. They replaced my TA2 irons. Never looked back. Instant gratification and confidence over the ball. More of a "This isn't your day today ball" feeling instead of one of "Ball be kind to me today" with the TA2s.
