Just wanted to say that my investment in the 917 D3/F3 716 CB and 3 SM6 wedges was well worth the money.

My ball speed has gone up considerably, which has made a nice increase in carry.

I have changed clubs a lot this year, from 915 D3 to 917 D2, then finally 917 D3. Had the AP1, then switched to 716 CB. I guess I had to do my own fitting of sorts, luckily for me the good folks at Golftown in Kingston allowed me to use their simulator to test clubs. There is something special about Titleist that makes them keep their customers loyal, I think they show a commitment to their customers like no other company.

I am very happy to spend a few bucks to put these clubs in play.

    Thanks!

No only if you guys could put GPS trackers in your balls, so I can find mine easier!!!

That's great and I do agree about their commitment. I had been a big TM and cally guy for awhile and Titleist does a much better job with communicating and servicing the customer. They're not as commercial as the other 2.

As a side note, how did you like the switch to the CBs from the AP1s? Which AP1 model were you using previously? 710, 712, 714 or 716?
  3. Canadian eh? Golf town in Kingston is not far from me and they also have helped me with my Titleist Gear!!

Updated my bag in 2016 also, new irons, wedges, fairway and hybrids. Decided to take it one step farther this morning. Had a spring tune up with my Master Instructor. After few minutes with him he got me back on plane -1/-1 which according to him is excellent and I am striking the ball solid again. After the lesson spent a hour on the range and putting green. I needed this badly, confidence lacking. Off to the course in the morning to see "what a difference a day makes, 24 four little hours".

I had the 716 AP1, and found that the smaller club head really matched my swing better. Both clubs are great, but my ball striking is even better with the CB's. I tried the AP2 irons as well, but nothing felt as good.

And yep good ol' Canuck! Golftown is my store!

MB, I feel the same. Your set up is almost what I have in my bag- I have a couple 716 T-MB long i- I share the same satisfaction!

Good luck Chuck, hope it goes well for you. I go back this Sunday to hit some balls, and keep the momentum going.

Noel, how do you like the T-MB? I am always looking at new ideas. I have the H2 Hybrid, but I do really like my long irons as well.
