Hi, I do not recommend going to a blade style iron. I too was in your position once, and started breaking 90 and thought well, time to rock some nice looking blades! They do look nice, but even pros use game improvement irons. I'm an 8 HC now and use a game improvement iron much like the AP1. If you are ready to move on from whatever you have now, I'd suggest those. Its really all about your score, and you never know when you can use a little more forgiveness.

Like Mike, I agree that the CB's are not the most forgiving club you can hit as a higher (over 20) handicap. If you have your heart set on it, though, I would go to a fitter and at least try the 710 CB's against the AP1's and the AP2's. I can tell you that for 2008, 2009 and so far in 2010, the most played irons on the PGA tour have been Titleist and the most popular model was the AP2's which is now closely followed by the 710 MB irons, so going to a more forgiving cavity back would not be a step down.
What do you guys think? Memphis? Dennis? Bill?

I totally agree with Cathi regarding a fitter. Try/demo the entire lineup of Titleist irons and find the set that works best for your game. I will be doing this soon myself. I'm playing with a set of 735.CMs. They've been great sticks (I've actually had two sets of them), but the time on this last set is almost up and I've decided to get a newer model of irons. I will head to the fitter at some point in the fall to find the right set of irons. I would recommend that to anyone.
By the way, I'm really looking forward to the release of the 910 drivers. From what I've read, driver fitting should be really cool with the 910s. I'm also anxious to see any new putter models from Scotty. Cathi - any updates on the new lineup of sticks?

Hi Memphis,We don't have any news yet on new product releases but we will definitely keep Team Titleist members in the loop. Thanks.- Team Titleist
Hey Scott,...driver fitting will be really great - you can think of it this way. We'll be able to fit your launch and spin into a window instead of the whole wall. We're having our national sales meeting now so updates will be coming up very soon.....
I wanted to thank you all for your comments. i will be going in later today to try them out and look at other possible choices. Hopefully i can find something in the Titleist line. In my opinion, Titleist has the best products in the industry. By far.
Cathi - thanks for the info. Can't wait to see all the new stuff.
