Do i gain more distance when decrease the loft from 21° to 20° or is the shaft length deciding? Thinking of buying the new Titleist TS Hybrid in 19° instead of 21° like my 818H1 Hybrid.

If loft was the only contributing factor, less loft would travel on a lower arch therefore would go a bit further. That said, the difference in the way the heads are made, weighting, and shafts will have an impact. Also, you may want to give up a few yards for the stopping power of a higher ball flight in your approach clubs. Suggest you hit both before buying and pick the one that will best suit the results you are after.

I have my hybrids 21 & 23 set at C2 and means that they are set at 20 & 22 to fill in the gap after my 718 AP2 4 iron. My irons are 2 degrees upright. My 917 D2 is set at C2 as well which is roughy 8.25 - 8.5 degree.

That being said, my iron ball flight is high and my hybrids still stop on the green better.
