Can anyone confirm that the new T100s are forged from 17-4 stainless rather than carbon steel as in the past AP2s? David Dusek from Golfweek reported that they are indeed a stainless forging in his T100 article.

I can't confirm whether the T100 is forged stainless but if it is I would expect it to be from a softer stainless steel such as 431, however, with heat treating it could very well be 17-4. Further if forged stainless I would expect it to be form forged i.e. cast and then struck once with the forging press. The body and face could also be made of different metals. Perhaps Titleist may comment/clarify?

Can anyone from Titleist comment on which types of steel are being used in the new T100s? I haven’t been able to get any clarification thus far. Thanks.
