Thinking about bumping the loft on my 917 driver. From A1 to D4. If I do that, will the grip alignment change from the A1 position? I use round grips, so it doesn’t matter functionally, but I’m worried about my brain.....

If you have excessive wear on the grip i guess it would look and feel(?) a bit strange but otherwise no issue there I would say. The shaft graphics will likely look different though as its in a new position, but other than that it should be all good. I change my setting occasionally and haven't seen any issue with that other than aesthetic.

Yes, your grip alignment will change as you move your settings. If it is a big deal to you...dial in your desired setting first, then re-grip the club at that setting.

LOL, i also worried about my brain with this. Golfers are a strange breed! Some the the settings will completely turn your grip and some will only turn it a little bit. You can check easily. But hey man, even if it does turn your grip logo, you can change your grip relatively easily and pretty cheap pending on what grip you like

It will change. Whether or not you notice the change depends on your grip. If it has alignment markings, then, yes, you will see a change. If there are no markings, like on a Tour Wrap or a Lamkin Crossline, then you should not notice any difference.

Yes, the alignment of any logo will change positions as you adjust the settings. That is why the adjustable clubs come with the "360" grips which do not have a logo or reminder rib. If the number stays in place the grip alignment will not change when you just adjust the letter (A1 to B1, etc) but changing A1 to A2 or both the letter and number will come the grip position. Regrip with a 360 if it bothers you or black out the logo with a sharpie.
  8. No it doesn't effect the grip.
