I have the TSi3 driver now, and i hit it well, but thinking of moving into the TSi2 driver for more forgiveness. I have had 2 shoulder surgeries over the last 4 years and am getting older, thinking maybe the added forgiveness and maybe a yardage boost would help. Anyone tried this or made this move? Thoughts?

Thanks in advance for the replies.

I went from the TS3 to the TSi2 and love it. The TSi3 was just a bit too hard to control on off-center hits. I tried the TSi1 but hit too many high floaters. I need every bit of runout I can get so I went back from 10 degrees to 9 degrees and its helping as most of the places I play have firm and dry fairways.

i had the same thought as you, but i couldn't reconcile the look of the TSI2, and the feel of it through impact.

having the weight that far back gives you a feeling of the face trying to close up through impact, i felt like i had to hold it off.

to add to that, i didn't really find a dramatic difference in the output between the 2 and 3, the 2 definitely felt like it torqued less on off center strikes, and may have flown straighter on them, but the 3 still gears the ball back on line.

definitely don't make the change blind, i just borrowed a 2 and went head to head with my 3, the 3 won out easy.

Thanks for the replies. I bought the TSi2 with a little softer shaft, same 10 deg head. Going to play it and try both shafts and see how it goes. I love my TSi3, but need a little more forgiveness. I do love the look of the TSi2, its bigger definitely, but sits really well behind the ball.
  5. What happened to the Tsi2 driver? Did they step on it during production? Looks just awful from the top view!!!!! But I guess I'll swing it and see how it goes, but just terrible looking!
