I recently purchased a driver from a reputable friend. The head has two different serial numbers on it. One right above the TSi3 on the bottom of the head and one diagonal below the screw to tighten onto the shaft. The upper one starts with a "B", has a "T" in it and consist of 8 other digits. The lower one is a typical Titleist serial number consisting of 7 digits. I have asked local pros and fellow experienced golfers and am unable to find out anything about it or even if it is a common occurrence. Does anyone happen to have any information?

If the "T" is in the middle of the sequence of numbers it may be a tour issue head. Hard to tell without seeing it.

One is the regular serial number and the other is the "secret" number. If you post it on Twitter with the phrase "I love Titleist" 1000 times you get a free TT bag tag. :) Kind of like the In-N-Out secret menu, not advertised to the general public.

Did you ever find out anymore information on this? I have a head with two serial numbers as well. The top one also starts with a B and has a T in it. I’ve asked around and haven’t found anyone that can tell me about it.

No but I would not worry too much about it. You bought it second hand almost a year ago so the original warranty would no longer be in affect. Just go out and enjoy its performance. You could always trade it for a new TSR model from a Titleist authorized dealer if you want to ensure authenticity.
