I love my 4 Iron and can confidently hit it in various scenarios. But I would like to get more distance from the iron. I often see videos discussing players' need to generate a certain CHS and /or BS to benefit from the club.

In your opinion, what is a good metric(s) to use for someone that would be best with a 4i, hybrid, or wood?

my current launch avg is 22.9

Besides us just having opinions worth the free advice we give, there are far too many missing pieces to make a good recommendation. 23 degrees of launch with a 23 degree club is fairly high, probably should be closer to 15 degrees. A good fitter can make sure you have the best iron/shaft combination for your swing. Once you get that squared away, then you need to see if a driving iron, hybrid, or wood will be your next best option. All 3 are options as we are all different in how we strike the ball.
