Nothing like a Titleist Driver

    I randomly walked into a 2nd swing a few years back looking for a 3 hybrid. The guy helping me convinced me to go with a 5 wood. He handed me TS2 and I said sorry I usually only play TM. I proceeded to flush this thing 220-230 again and again. I said, “what’s the driver equivalent to this?” He grabbed a TS2 and said we would probably need a fitting session, I agreed but because of my ocd I needed to at least hit it, since this 5 wood would be the only non TM club in my bag. 250-260 down the middle again and again. Needless to say I walked out of there with both those clubs.

    Fast forward a year, I found myself grabbing the TSi2 and playing that for a season ($400 new). Then when the new Qi10 came out I was able to “upgrade” to that for only a couple hundred dollars due to loyalty points and discounts. Well, I hated it. Tried out the TSR2 and it felt like home again! Welcome back to my bag Titleist driver, sorry to have left you!

    This like this I’m happy to hear. I have been playing png drivers for years but I’m ready to make the switch.

    It’s not easy to find out as it varies week to week, there is a reason why more players not on a full bag contract use Titleist drivers more than other OEMs.

    Agree!!!
    Just upgraded from the TS2 to the TSR2 after trying out all the top name drivers. Went to an indoor fitting (which I hate, but it was winter) and it was much more consistent for me.
    Also like how Titleist keeps the names simple. TSR2 is easy to remember and spell. The others always have to come up with some new name for theirs.

    I played a 2007 HT Draw Burner between 2011-2017, 910D2 10.5 2017-2019, 913D2 10.5 2019-2021 and 915D2 12. To get the Burner driver to come in at the desired swingweight (d2) with a 44.5” shaft, had to use a Winn Dri Tac Lite grip. I had to stay at 44.5 with the 910D2. The best thing I did in 2021 was change the shaft length to 44”; the 913D2 and 915D2 have an abundance of headweights available on the aftermarket. I currently play a Diamana 62 x5ct stiff with the 915.

    I loved my TSi4 driver while it lasted. The only issue I had was that the face cracked right around the 1.5 year mark of having it. I reached out through my golf club that I purchased it through about getting the warranty replacement for it but was ignored for months or so and then turned away completely. Still frustrated by the lack of customer care for defective products, I sadly have turned to another new driver. Maybe if this one breaks too, I’ll find my way back to a Titleist one again.

    As you can see in my thumbnail, I have a TS2 18 fairway and 23&27 hybrids. Diamana 72 x5ct R on the 5 wood (41.5"), S70+ R on the 23 and S70+ S on the 27 (shaft is soft-stepped since it came from a 25). My best driver as far as accuracy is the 915D2 with the Diamana 62 x5ct S.

    Obviously equipment upgrade. TSR1 23 fairway vice 23H.

    I am playing Titleist drivers since the 975D and I changed drivers every other generation and years more frequently. I saw a lot of excellent generation of drivers from Titleist over the years.
    Since the TS series, TS3 was fabulous but the new TSR series are a step ahead.

    Over the years, I also bought drivers from another manufacturers, only to try them. They all finished on Ebay after short period. I was always comparing them to Titleist.

    I sold my two TS3 9.5 drivers and, I bought a TSR2 10 deg, on which I install a AD DI shaft. As back up, I also bought a second driver. TSR3 10 deg. which feel very solid. Both drivers are excellents
    I am very happy with actual equipment. You could consider me as a serious fan of Titleist since a long time.

    Can't wait till I see the new Titleist Drivers on tour later this year. They have been working intently to improve the TSr version. Titleist will not disappoint.

    Same. I am hoping they continue to build upon the success of the TS line. The TSi and TSr have been so good.

    Tsr4 is my favorite Titleist driver to date! I had the 975D3. I went to the TS3, then the TSR4. I love the penetrating ball flight! I feel like I just have to point and shoot. I am able to work the ball with relative ease. You can’t trust the straight ball! Lol. Titleist is the best overall club manufacturer in the industry in my opinion. The new T100 irons are the best irons I have ever hit!
