  1. Hey everyone this is my first time ever custom ordering a set of irons from titleist. pretty excited but I'm worried about turnaround times... I saw on the FAQ page that its usually 2 weeks to ship out... however 2 weeks from now I'm supposed to be playing at TPC Sawgrass I was wondering if anyone knows if there's any hope of receiving them early or will I be stuck with my old set of irons?

I know its wishful thinking that they may be early but here's to hoping!

I ordered mine at last year through my club. Nothing special but upgraded shafts and soft stepped once. I had them in hand in 2 weeks. It was very consistent with what was showing on the web site.

I am in PA and ordered a set of T200's, Tour Lite Shafts standard length Feb 6th and received them from the fitter Feb 16th if that is any help.

Stick with the old set. Even if the new ones show up early, you're gonna want to get out and play a bunch to get comfortable with them.
New clubs aren't going to play exactly like your old ones. Otherwise there would be no reason to get new ones.

Did my fitting on February 28 and received the metals on March 9 and the irons and wedges came on March 12. 10 days to get the metals and 13 days I had my full set.

I would say there is a couple of things to consider. First, I would caution anyone from just doing a direct order without a fitting. You might think you know what specs you need but they do change over time and can vary with different heads. Second, I personally would avoid playing a new set of irons on a golf trip to a fancy course where I want to play well. I find that a new set usually takes me several weeks to adjust in order to perform to my normal play. That said, your 2 week window is very tight if you live on the east coast as all sets in the USA are built at the plant in Carlsbad, CA so shipping alone will take a few more days than if you are a west coast resident. If there is a special shaft or grip that is not in stock, that may add a few more weeks. Hope this helps and hope you get a set that fits you well.
  8. I appreciate the reply I was definitely fit to the setup I ordered just took a few weeks to ultimately decide on what I wanted. I’m a relatively solid ball striker so i settled on 620 CB’s 4-pw with Dynamic gold x100’s. Shafts were left with an option for me between DG or project x 6.5. Decided DG cause I hate the feeling like I’m swinging a piece of rebar in the 6.5 lol

Assuming all the components are in stock, the build time is 5-7 business days. Shipped from Carlsbad, CA can take 3-5 business days. You have the option to upgrade the shipping time to 1-2 days if you don’t live in Southern California. Titleist does try to under promise and over deliver.

If you didn’t look for a Titleist sponsored fitting, you may want to hold off and take the time to get exactly what works best for you. It won’t be very satisfying to look good with new irons but not do well.
  10. Thanks for the reply. Yea I’m probably leaning towards using the old set anyways. But it has been a long spell of getting fit and mulling over what I wanted and the best way to setup what I wanted with loads of testing so I almost feel like I should be fine with them if I can get them fast enough for a few range sessions in before the trip but we’ll see.

I ordered a set of T350's 3 weeks ago. All components are in stock, but I ordered +1/2 shaft length. Titleist says another 2 weeks due to order volume.
