Titleist logo wearing off on irons - touch ups?

    Hi - I adore my set of AP2 718's and don't ever want to replace them. However I've noticed that the Titleist logo on the back of a few of them has started to wear away. Appreciate it has absolutely no bearing whatsoever on how they perform etc, I just think it looks really unsightly and cheapens the look of the set materially. Naturally - I dare not try and touch up myself given the level of precision required (this isn't like filling in chipped paint on an iron number - for example - where there is an indentation; any slightly deviation/smidge from the slightly raised Titleist logo that is embossed on the club would like horrendous against the steel backdrop). Any advice on how I can get these touched-up?

    I have a set of the original AP2s (2008), and have the same issue. Part of the aging process, same as me at 77. I just repainted the numbers when needed and moved on. Like my Acushnet Bulls Eye putters, no longer game them.

    Titleist does not do refinishing. You might be able to find someone in your area who does refinishing at a premium price. Seems it would be labor intensive.

    I’m from the other side of the spectrum that is ok letting the tools (not jewels) show the signs of battle. I’d rather expect that an artist charging $20 an iron would be money better set aside to be saved for the next set The 718s were released 7 years ago and a new set of Gen 4 irons would be a reasonable replacement cycle. Very few of us stay the same after 8-10 years. Especially if 45+ in 2017. And the club design has improved quite a bit as well.

    There are a few restoration companies out there. Maybe do some internet searches for one that might give your irons a complete restoration. If not, know that they probably look better than Patrick Cantlay's as he has been using the same AP2 set on tour for years now. He's famous for his reluctance to change equipment.
