  1. I have been gaming the TS3 driver (9.5 degree) since it dropped but I am looking to upgrade. I feel four or five years is a good time frame to update the driver if you’re not a scratch golfer. I am so used to the shape of TS3 that if I did get the TSr2 it would mentally mess with me? Like the more “tear drop shape” would be enough to mess with how well or comfortable I would be over the ball. Was wondering the insight of others if this makes sense. As much as I would think a TSr2 would help my launch, distance and forgiveness over the 3, I don’t know if I could live with constantly being uncomfortable looking at that shape. Would anyone agree with the power of looks and comfortability even if you may not be maximizing performance.

Not that noticeable to most. Your eyes should really be focused on the ball more than the shape of the clubhead. I would think that a slight difference in appearance would be easy to get over if you're striping it down the middle every time. Just be quick to put a head cover on it and you'll never notice.

The TSR2 will look almost identical to the TSR3 at address. The backweight area with the different shape is not really visible while you stand over it. That said, you risk not getting optimal performance by guessing at what will work best for you. The only real way to know you are making the right choice is by getting a fitting and testing all versions.

Just to note, the tour will be seeded with the next release in the next 10-12 weeks. I agree that the shape doesn’t impress me as much as how well I can hit the center of the fairway.

    Hi,
TSR2 is not same design as TS2.
TSR2 and TSR3 are closer as design but I agree ,TSR3 is more a tear drop and TSR2 is more round.
But if you do not compare the 2 models side by side, it is not obvious.
Titleist made a very nice work with the design and they are more similar than previously.
The performance of TSR2 is exceptional for distance.
TSR3 if you hit the sweet spot with regularity, the feel is more solid.
I was also using the TS3 previously and now I like both of TSR model.

The best thing to help you to choose is to hit both of them with a fitter.
