I'm considering buying a Titleist 4UP StaDry Stand Bag as a lightweight bag for carrying during the winter, bit concerned about the size of it, I want to carry a full set of clubs but have seen feedback that this is not practical and better to go for the players 5 bag for this.

Anyone using a 4Up bag if so what's it like regarding getting clubs in an out during a round?

    thanks

I have a 4UP StaDry that I have taken to Bandon and use periodically. I have no problem with 14 clubs in the bag. Extra storage is limited but I usually don't carry a lot of extra stuff. I think the new Players 4 is a good alternative unless you need the waterproof feature. That's why I take it to Bandon but don't use it as much in san Diego.

As you can see here, works fine.

thanks Dale, I notice in another post you say there's a lack of padding in the shoulder straps?

Yup, me too. I keep it in my trunk for when I forget to charge my battery for the electric push cart. Never had a problem fitting all the clubs in and getting them in and out. Like Dale said you won't be able to fit a ton of stuff into the bag, but it will work fine for carrying your clubs. Great bag

The padding isn't too bad but did seem less than on other bags. It was an easy fix to get those velcro seat belt shoulder pads that look like sheepskin at an auto parts store. I found them in black which blends perfectly with the straps.

Thanks Rick, the feedback from you Dale and Tom have helped me decide, shame I cant get the navy/red one in the UK though.

The 4 up looks legit. I'm in the market for a new stand bag, and would love something that's waterproof.
I'm a big Sunday bag fan, so space isn't an issue. But when the dew is present or the forecast isn't dry, the Sunday bag is a wet mess.
Although I'm a huge Titleist supporter, I've been very disappointed by the last 2 Titleist bags I've had. The shoulder straps on both transferred dirt/color to my light colored shirts, and I've bent the legs and even broken a divider on the lightweight- and this is least amount of golf I've played in a year AND I didn't take it on a plane.
Sadly, the Sunday bag I bought from a different company has held up much better than my Titleist bags.
The 4 up isn't cheap, and I don't want to drop $250 on something that won't hold up. Has anyone here gamed one for 50-100 rounds yet?

Just ordered mine and plan to use it through the winter, I'll be sure to shout out if there are any issues with it, as for the money we're paying I'd expect Titleist to back their product.
  11. I use the 4 Up and love it, nice and light. Not a massive amount of room for clothing etc, plenty of room for 14 clubs, but I don't see the point in overloading a carry bag either!!
