  1. Purchased a new 2019 Hybrid Stand bag about 3 weeks ago. Great bag and suits my needs perfectly. However there is a problem when walking with the bag - the legs flop up and down quite significantly. Is there a fix for this? Any help appreciated

I have answered this question a few times on the forum. It's not a difficult fix. There is a black plastic band on the inter wires of the stand mechanism that connect to the legs. You can slide that band higher up and it will add tension to the legs. You may need a hammer to gently knock the band up a bit. They are usually on pretty tight which is good, you don't want it slipping back down and loosening the legs again. Check it every 6 months or so just in case it needs adjusting again. Happy walking!

Thank you!! I also have this problem with a new bag. I looked at that black sliding piece, but I couldn't get it to move by hand. I figured it was glued. I will try the hammer, tonight!

Mine did that at first for about 4-5 rounds....give it a few weeks to break in!
Currently have zero issues with mine!!!

  6. I have the same issue. What's interesting is they flop down only when using the shoulder straps. If you pick it up with the handle, they close just fine. I think the weight of the bag plus the straps make the bag bend a bit which cause the bottom foot to come in just like it would if you're setting it down.

I noticed the same thing today after struggling with my bag for months. The black plastic band refuses to move. I have tried everything.

The plastic bands no longer slip easily due to a small metal point on the wire designed to keep them from slipping down. You actually have to pop it off the wire and then adjust it up slightly higher, that then pop it back onto the wires. I needed plyers to pop it back in place.
  9. I noticed the quality has declined of recent generations of these bags. Just had one a little over a year and the main zipper pocket pulled right off. I'm not hard on my stuff either but you can see the older bags have better materials. Very disappointing.
