I have a red Club Glove Collegiate and a small SKB hard case. I like the hard case for long trips where i worry about airport baggage handlers but it barely has room for my Players 4 bag and a pair of shoes. The Club Glove allows me to throw in a little more stuff. I hope some day Titleist offers the Club Glove in both sizes as the regular one is just a bit larger than i need.

I’m looking for a travel bag shortly..... hard cased one.
  4. My SKB is 18 yrs old and has been on at least that many plane rides. Can’t beat it (hard shell). I have the smaller version and my Titleist cart bag fits in it just fine. No issues making airline weight restrictions.

Club Glove Last Bag,,,, Easier choice now that wood and hybrid heads can be removed. This is only time I use iron head covers.. Never had a bad occurrence with baggage handlers!

The club glove smaller version is perfect for any stand bag, and has room for shoes. The full size club glove is for staff bags so would be too big for most any other kind of bag. I have had only a few cases of travel damage, a hard case would prevent this of course... nice that a club glove can fold up smaller and it is good enough for my head pro and all his trips.

I only use the SKB these days. Had a bad turn with a soft shell case and baggage handlers and apparently there is no coverage for equipment in a soft shell case. I think the SKB comes in 12, 14, 16 and 20 versions. I have a 14 and find it has room for bag, shoes and a dozen Titleist AVX.

And the SKB bags have a lifetime guarantee. I had a cheap Plano hard case and the wheels broke and the latches were broken by the baggage handlers. Nice to have the warranty from SKB. I do have to be careful what rent car i get as the hard cases are a little longer than soft cases and don't always fit in the trunk of cars. Back seat works when traveling alone. Aluminum legs occasionally get bent too on soft cases. Stiff Arm keeps the clubs from getting broken but some handlers must slam the side of the soft cases against the baggage trailers because i have had the legs on the stand bags bent several times. If i am driving and just want to take my bag, i will use the Club Glove Collegiate every time.

The bag I'm looking at is the Titleist Club Glove Travel Cover.
Seems a little big for a standard Carry Bag...I may also be wrong.
I do have the Club Glove Collegiate that is showing it's age...Just looking to upgrade.

If anyone has this model can the post a few pictures of it with your clubs inside?
Really like this model but thinking it may be a little too big for just a stand bag...it may me more appropriate for a staff style bag.

Exactly... This is the bigger of the two Club Glove offerings. I hope some day Titleist will offer both this one and the smaller "collegiate" version with the Titleist logo. It would be perfect for those of us using the smaller carry bags.

I have the Titleist Club Glove with a stiff arm. I usually put the shoe bag next to the legs so maybe that has protected the bag as well. I had a lower quality bag with a hard shell top that never damaged the contents but it suffered badly from wear and tear. The Club Glove often goes on business trips so I like that it fits east to west in the trunk of an Altima/Maxima as my preferred rental. I rented a hard case one time. The hinges and latches didn't make it through the trip and barely fit inside of a 2 row SUV with one seat folded. Maybe the SKB solves that problem.

I have the Club Glove last bag, it's great. I take the heads off my driver and 3, pack some towels around the remainder and have never had an issue. I usually travel with them several times a year and the bag shows no signs of wear.

I used to have a hard case, which worked fine but it was a major pain to travel with. Didn't fit in a lot of cabs or rentals easily.

As Dale mentioned above, if you go soft, get a stiff arm. It's a must. Sometimes, you'll get lucky and they'll throw one in for free with sales, although they're very reasonably priced.

I have the Titleist Club Glove bag. I take the heads off my woods and put them in the head covers in the side pocket of my bag. I weave a towel around the irons. So far, no damage with this method after several trips. The bag is plenty big so I will put shoes and dirty clothes on the way home. Definitely recommend it.
  18. I have the Titleist club glove bag. Its a great size and can fit your bag ,shoes and all the extras you end up with on a golf vacation. It was easy to get around with as a golf bag can be and fits in most rental car trunks.

On a side note, if you travel overseas (UK/Ireland) and you are not in a travel group, (Perry Golf) be careful. Most rent cars are small and won't handle a hard case very well.

I use the Sun Mountain Club Glider. It has retractable wheels that pop out so the bag can be pulled on a 45 deg angle. You can literally pull it around with one finger. Lots of padding at the top of the bag where your club heads would be, and ample room for shoes, ball, towels or whatever else you would want to store. I also use the arm extender as an added precaution , but don,t really need it because of the amount of padding. It also looks great rolling through the airport
