Comes down to personal preference. If you play a lot in the rain, the StaDry will help keep the clubs dry. That said, it's almost impossible to play in the rain, taking clubs in and out of any bag, without them getting wet. The StaDry zippers are designed to be waterproof but they are a bit less durable than regular zippers and can be a bit harder to get in and out of the pockets. So, that's a comparison of the Players 4 Plus versions. Now you bring in a whole different functionality comparison with the Players 4 versus Hybrid 14 as the biggest difference there is the individual club slots or the 4 larger club placement areas. People either love or hate the 14's because that feature is so unique. That's something only you can decide if you like. I will say some people with oversized grips have said the 14 style has made it hard to get clubs in and out. People that don't like the 4 style say the clubs get twisted together too often. Boils down to going with what you like best. Good luck, they are all great bags.

If you're looking for more room, the Hybrid 14 is the way to go. If you have an opportunity to see the bags in person and you could put some clubs in them, that will give you a good sense of how it will perform day to day. To me, bags are a preference thing. Personally, I have multiple Titleist bags and will switch bags depending on the round of the day. For example, if I'm carrying, I'll use my Carbon. In wet weather, I'll bring out the StaDry. If it's a cart only day, I'm bringing my Cart 15 bag. Luckily for us Titleist has a great selection of bags and I'm sure you'll find one that fits your needs.

It really does come to your intended use. As a former caddie, I learned to hate 14-way bags as it is impossible to walk and pull or replace clubs at the same time. Having to search for the 'open' slot, and be able to put the club into it at a specific angle, made it very difficult. And, that continues to this day even though my walking rounds with my own bag are quite limited.

That being said, those who are partial to the 14-way bags fall into a couple of general categories: use pullcart or riding car almost exclusively; like the organization that the 14-way provides and being able to tell quickly if something is either missing/left behind or out of place; like the fact that the grips/shafts aren't bunched up making it more difficult to get clubs into/out of bag.

Definitely see if you can try a buddy's bag for a hole or two before you buy. I don't know of anyone who will let you 'demo' a golf bag before you buy.

I failed to mention that my current bag is a 3-way, ultralight Titleist from a few years ago. It is actually very adequate for most of my needs including use on a golf car, but it is not water-proof for those occasional days. I didn't like the size/shape of the topmost compartment in the Players 4/Players4 StaDry, which is why I went with the Players 4 Plus size. Driver, at least one and probably two fairways, and putter just seem too crowded in the Players 4 model. I guess that is why Titleist offers a number of options!
