A buddy & I do some leatherwork on the side & I am wanting to make my own, leather, yardage book. I have never had/used one before so I am trying to find size/dimensions from others with leather books. Since we can’t reply with pictures on here, if you have pictures or information that will be helpful to me creating my own, my email is timdial2@gmail.com

I can’t figure out how to get notifications when people reply to my thread on here so email might be best. Thank you!

  2. 4.3 Use of Equipment
    4.3a/1 – Limitations on Using Green-Reading Materials

    .....

Any book or other paper containing a map or image of a putting green must not be larger than 4 1/4 inches x 7 inches (the "size limit"), although a "hole location sheet" that displays 9 or more holes on a single sheet of paper may be larger, provided that any image of a single putting green meets the scale limit.

My yardage book cover is 7-1/2 x 4-1/2 when closed over. This size fits any of the course yardage books available at some courses.

Did not know this ruling existed but that is an excellent reference to build off of! Also adds context as to why the TT yardage books come in at 6.7" (h) x 4.1" (w)!
    Thank you!!

I agree with Johnny when measuring mine. Very cool, make sure to take a pic to show us when you finish!

Will do! We are starting it soon. Not sure yet if we will sew in or stamp in and paint fill the TT circle and stuff.

All the ones I've seen were about 7" x 4 1/2". That's great idea making your own out of leather. Fine leatherwork is an art.

Wow. I would love to be able to do that. I've seen them on sites like ebay but figured why not do it myself. Patchwork covers are great. Would love to see a pix when complete

Exactly, homemade just feels better, even if it isn't perfect. Plus it is way cheaper than $90! I plan on adding my last name below the TT circle, kind of like adding your name to the Tour Bag.

The vokey ones were bigger better than the TT ones could be a bit bigger?
