Most courses in the UK have a PGA Coach maybe you could try one of these. I did the same about a year ago as i was going through the same thoughts as you. Best thing I ever did, made a huge difference quickly and gave me things to go away and practise doing it the proper way. I was hitting the ball well etc but had developed my own way of doing it that wasnt quite right. This gave me even more of a buzz as i could feel myself improving over the lessons and then onto new irons custom fitted etc I love my lesson and it gives you a good sense of achievement when you go back and you being given credit for practising what youve been taught and its working.

Prices range for lessons. £20-30 ish for 30 mins or you can book up for a package which is abit cheaper. My coach is only £20 per 30mins which is really good and he has nearly 40years in golf. I live quite rural in the uk so prices near me are slightly cheaper but on average when i was looking around £25-£30 per lesson. I really have learnt so much from these and i would recommend it bud.

I have always had lessons with my local club pro. When I first started playing seriously my handicap was 15 everyone was telling me how natural I was so like you I wanted to improve so I went to my local pro who offered a series of different packages from short to long game and within a couple of years I was down to 5.
So if you're serious about your golf and want to get better book a lesson with your local pro.
    Good luck.

The best solution Luis is to see a PGA professional. Talk to 2 or 3 and see which on has the best plan for you.

  6. Yes! Go ahead and see a closest PGA professional you can find, they'll teach you and train you.

You've played golf for a year and shot a 72? 18 holes? You, my friend, should be giving people lessons!
