    Thanks for the tip. I've encountered that type of shot before and never really knew what to do. The thing I need to do the next time is stay committed to the required technique.

    We get these in San Diego all the time. My sand/lob wedge setup is 56-08M (bent to 54), 60-12D (bent to 58) and MD3 64/8. I CAN hit the 60-12D off wet sand but the 64 works way better. I can also hit the 56 and 64 in softer sand but the 60 works better.
