So, I have a lot of toe hits with my irons. I contribute it to the wonderful out to in swing I have, maybe I'm wrong on that. For whatever reason it is hard for me to swing down the line. Any thoughts or tips for this. TIA.

I will gladly trade with you. My mistake is a heal hit and when severe, creates the dreaded "hosel rocket". My practice drill is to set two balls about 2 inches apart, one closer to me, and hit the inside ball. I have seen this drill with a box or a pool noodle but just having the outside ball works for me. Maybe you try the same drill but hit the outside ball while avoiding the inside ball. Always best to get professional help but until then, maybe give this a try. Good luck.

First thing that comes to mind, when this happens to me, I go see one of the teaching pros at the course where I play. We have five and they are readily available. If I try to figure it out on my own, it just does not work for me. I have to have someone watch and see the problem. It only takes them a few minutes to find my flaw(s) and correct it (them). Just one opinion.

I’ve paid a lot of money to swing down and exaggerate a swing out. On camera it isn’t an outward path.
My other cause is my flying elbow (chicken wing) that shortens my arc and moves my path inside.
If you can’t commit to a local pro, there are online coaches that see a video and recommend some routines to correct the issue.

Has anyone heard of Adam Young? He is an incredible instructor and can be fully online. He mainly believes in impact and control of face. He had a couple plans on his website for pretty cheap. Definitely worth a look at to understand how to change your strike on the club face.
