I've been playing golf since I was 8 years old. Today for the first time, at the age of 73, I scored a hole-in-one. I had begun to think it was never going to happen for me and had even said that much a few holes earlier to the other, younger members of my foursome. We were playing Miami Beach Country Club, a course I had only played once before. So I had been relying on the rest of the group for advice on distance and direction. But on this particular 93 yard hole, the Sixth, I just decided to take my pitching wedge and hit it. And remarkably I executed the shot textbook-perfect. That alone would have been pleasure enough. However, a man looking for his ball near our tee had watched my shot and exclaimed, "I think it went in!" Then he said, "Oh, but I can still see the top of it. So it may just be very near the hole." I replied "That will be just fine with me." But when we got up to the hole, to my delight, we saw the ball resting very comfortably on top of the blue COVID collar insert in the hole! That Titleist TrueFeel clearly had found its home.
