On Saturday morning September 12, 2020 playing in a fivesome at Pete Dye Golf Club I had a hole in one at the 155 yard 13th hole. Immediately following my ace, one of my playing partners hit his tee ball to one foot, losing the hole with a birdie. I was joined by two other members, Mike Ruffing and Randy Jaegle and two guests. This was my third hole in one, and my first at Pete Dye. Also that morning a guest who was at the club for the weekend celebrating his 50th birthday made a hole in one on the 195 yard 16th hole. Needless to say there was a major celebration at the club that afternoon/evening.
