Zac is 9 years old and has been playing golf for almost 3 years. He got his first Eagle on 9/6/20. Then on Sunday, 9/13/20, he came to the tee box of Hole 4 at our home club, Wetherington Golf and Country Club in West Chester, OH. Hole 4 is a par 3. The pin placement was forward on the green and 115 from the tee box. Zac selected his 7 iron and said out loud “I’m going to bounce it right on the first cut just to the left of the pin.” That is exactly what he did, the ball hit, small bounce and rolled toward the hole. I (Mom) yelled “Go in the hole” and sure enough, it did!!! Zac threw his hat in the air, grabbed his head with both hands and ran around the tee box in excitement, celebration, and disbelief as Mom and Dad just laughed out loud, so happy for our son. We called the pro shop right away and told them, the pro came out to congratulate Zac. What a day! He went on to shoot 38 for the full 9 holes.
