I golf with a group of guys on Sundays that my buddy Jerry Chavez got me into. Los Madrugadores. (The Early risers) I've been golfing avidly for about 7 years and with this group of guys for 3 years. I been using Titleist prov1 balls for about 4 years now. They are worth it! On this day I was feeling a little nervous because it was the first weekend the golf courses reopened after being shut down do to the Corana Virus covid 19 Pandemic. I also felt a little guilty because the family and I had been staying home in quarantine and now I get to go golf? My teenage daughters were telling me it wasnt fair because they wanted to see their friends and they couldn't. I told them sometimes things in life aren't fair..lol..So I went because I was in need of some stress relief and golf does just that! Safely of course with a mask hand sanitizer and social Distancing. At the course I was having a bogey kind of day but the stress relief was great! This was my First 18 at Black Mesa course in Espanola NM. Its a beautiful course with a lot of blind shots and scenery. And rattlesnakes! But very beautiful! We come up to hole 15, 195yard down hill par 3. I figure my 5 iron can get me on the green. I use my new Titleist prov1 with a green clover on it. I do my normal routine take my shot and the ball lands behind the flag pole and heads back to the hole. I thought it stopped short! My friend Andy yells"thats in dude! I guarantee it" I still don't believe it. I still cant see that far so we waited for Tim and Doug to hit their balls. I was getting inpatient and hauled butt down as soon as the other guys hit their balls. Sure enough! Hole in one! Wow what a feeling! I almost didnt go, do to this Covid 19 virus,but something told me I neede to be out there with my golfing buddies and I'm glad I was! Thank you Titleist for letting me Share my story!
