I should have know it was going to be a special day when I went to throw a water bottle in the trash from across the room and it hit the lip of the can, ricocheted into the tablecloth hanging over the edge of the table beside the trash can, and landed upright on its top! We left the meeting room and headed out for a round at The Preserve at Grand View Lodge. I was enjoying a beautiful day golfing with my counterparts. I was actually having one of my better rounds of golf, so when I stepped up to the tee on the hole 13 par 3 with my nine iron for a 99 yard downhill shot to the pin, i was feeling pretty good. My swing felt good and the ball came off the club nicely. Once the ball hit about about a yard short of pin high and two yards to the left, it took a short bounce towards the right and then it was like slow motion as we watched the ball roll right into the hole! I couldn’t help but scream with excitement! It was my first hole in one and it was so exciting!! My round won me the green jacket for the day with my group! Kristin R.
