My first hole in one! I was on the 3rd Par 3 of the front 9 at Persimmon Country Club, I was feeling good after hitting the green on the first 2 Par 3’s. Honestly my goal was just to get the ball on this uphill Par 3 with a 2 tier green. The pin was located on the top tier toward the back. I hit my shot with my T100s 5 iron. With the pin back it was scoping at 163 yards. I made good contact and the ball B-line to the pin. From the tee box, I lost sight of the ball, but it was the reaction of the twosome on another hole who witness the ball go in. Their reaction set off a chain reaction between myself and golf partner. Joy and elation started between the both of us as we carted quickly to the green. As we approach the green a surreal odd feeling was racing through my body and mind. The actual hole in one sunk in when we got to the hole and saw the ball wedged between the inside edge of the cup and flagstick! Just couldn’t imagine, that quick 9 hole on a Tuesday afternoon would be a moment in my golfing adventures turn out to be that memorable moment I will remember always.
