    I'm 73 years old and a bogey golfer. I was golfing on a Wednesday with my two sons and registered my first ace on the signature "Island Hole" on the Silver Spring Golf Club Island course in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. It was especially meaningful to me because it was witnessed by my sons who had taken time off from work for an afternoon father-son round.

    As an update to my original post... This hole is the signature hole on the Silver Spring Golf Club Island course because it is the only natural island green in the state of Wisconsin. You access it by crossing a bridge. Golfers from all over the state play this course specifically to play this legendary hole. BTW- I normally play a Titleist Tour Soft ball but on this shot I pulled an older Titleist NXT ball out of my bag and it landed three feet in front of the hole, took one bounce and went right into the hole. I played from the 89 yard gold (Senior) tee box and used a pitching wedge.
