I carded my first Ace while playing with two of my golf buddies at The Ridge @ Eagle Crest, Redmond OR, after playing golf for 15+ years. One of playing partners handed me a Pro V1 ball with #00 on it at the first tee and I decided to play it instead of the Pro V1 that I had in my hand. I was playing really well that day. When we came to my home hole the #16 Par-3, I selected an 8-iron for a 137 yard back pin. The ball hit the green 5-1/2 ft left of the pin and rolled 90 degrees right down to the hole and IN! Not a bad day, A Hole-in-One, and I shot a 1 under 71 (my current age)! I retired the #00 Pro V1 after the Hol-in-One.
