It was our first day on the course at Sandals Golf & Country Club Ocho Rios, Jamaica West Indies. March 10,2021. I started playing golf late summer of 2020 after my husband had given me a set of clubs for Christmas 2019. The Covid virus shut down the courses in our state until summer at which time and with prodding from my husband and friends I began my golf experience.

Our vacation in Sandals early March of this year2021 included playing at the Sandals Golf & Country Club in the morning then scuba dive in the afternoon. I had not golfed since December and had no practice balls but was making great contact with the ball on this day. We started in the back side this first day if our vacation. I approached hole #13 - named the “Brat” a very Short Par 3 at the Red Tee box- It sits quite low in a valley and the pin is on a hill with two sand traps on either side. I used a driver because I am still not that good and needed to power up- I hit the ball - a Titleist Pro VI- and it hit the edge of the green - then popped up running forward square on to the pin snd then disappeared. I told my husband and Caddy - his nickname “Fish”, “ I think I just got a Hole-in-one!” They confirmed and witnessed this amazing feat for me! Attached a a couple of photos! That’s my story!
