After 45 years playing golf, I had my first hole-in-one in May of this year. It took 5 months to the day to get number 2.

On Sunday October 3, 2021, I was playing at my home course Medford Village CC, and scored my second career ace on hole number 11. We were playing the black tees with the hole being 232 yards. With the wind being into, I decided that a cut 3 wood would be needed to reach the upper level of the green where the pin was cut. My playing partners all hit great shots and reached the putting surface. With me being last to play, there was a little pressure to improve upon the great shots before me. I struck the 3 wood solid, and started it at the left edge of the green. The ball peeled back to toward the pin, landed softly and slowly climbed the hill toward the pin. In a flash, the ball disappeared! My playing partners and I all looked at each other and realized that the ball was in the hole.

Club of choice was a TSi3 3 wood and ball of choice was a Titleist PROV1.
