Three days after my 70 birthday I was playing as a substitute in a Golf League at The Club in Freeport, Illinois. I was getting ready to tee of on Number 7 a Par 3 playing approximately 155 yards. I took out my 5 iron and hit the ball towards the green and was just short of the green. Then my group saw the ball roll up onto the green on the left side from the pin and then begin bending to the right towards the flag stick. I thought this was going to be close, but then the ball disappeared and went into the hole. I couldn't have been more proud at that moment. First ever hole in one for me.
