On October 6, 2021, on hole #11, (123 yard par 3) at Kingswood in Fredericton, NB, I had my 3rd hole-in-one. It looked like a nice shot, but the sun was in our eyes. I watched it as best as I could but thought, well that might be nice enough to make birdie. As we approached the hole, we saw two balls on the green but not the 3rd. (My husband’s ball wasn’t on the green as our 4th player.) Hank said, “I wonder where the other ball could be, Leslie?” Sure enough, it was in the hole! :) My previous 2 hole-in ones were both 29 years ago. I had just returned home to ON in September, and replayed the golf course I grew up at where my Mum had her 1st hole-in-one. We even took a photo of my sister and I on the putting green as a special memory to show her. She loved that. But also, we played the other club where I had my first two hole-in-one’s, 29 years ago. And sure enough, after all these years, the day after we returned home to NB, I got another hole-in-one. Very strange timing yet oh so special. My Mum was the first to be called.
