Attleboro, MA Hit a 7iron off the “winter tee” mat. 140 yards. Thought to myself “way too much club” but it was a windy day and I wanted to reach the green. The ball disappeared and I assumed I put it over the back of the slightly elevated green. Found the ball in the cup and couldn’t even find a plug mark so I think I straight kerplunked it. Have only been golfing a little over a year. Such an exciting feeling. Naturally I was alone but doesn’t take away the joy. Called 5-6 people immediately and shared the news. FaceTimed my friend and had him screen shot a photo of me lying on the wet green with my ball.
