This happened back in 2004 but I didn't know I could share here... I was playing with my son (15yrs) and my daughter (11yrs) was riding along in the cart. We were at Highland Park Golf Course in Bloomington, IL on April 18th, 2004. We got to the 290 yard par 4, 4th hole...a straightaway par 4...a little down and then back up to the green. I hit my drive and I knew it was going towards the green but none of us saw it land or bounce. So we just headed to the green. We didn't see anything short of the green so my son and I started to head to the back of the green where there was a row of bushes. My daughter, as usual hopped out of the cart and started to walk onto the green towards the hole. She was our caddie for the day and she always wanted to tend the pin. When she got to the hole she just said..."Dad, there's a ball in the hole." I looked at my son and he said..."You got a Hole In One!" My daughter had no idea how special it was until I started going crazy too. Needless to say, no one in the clubhouse believed me but it doesn't matter...my kids were there to see it!! I did get a plaque from the course and I still have my Titleist golf ball!
