We recently moved down to Florida and have lived in the northeast for the rest of ourselves, but never had an HIO. On this day May 22, 2019 my wife decided to join me and just watch me play golf with other golfers in my foursome. We all stepped on the teebox, Hole #2 of Disney’s Lake Buena Vista Golf Course, slight breeze with 131 yards, large bunker fronting the green and I pulled an 8-iron and swung easy… ball landed about 3-5 feet before the pin and ball kept rolling and disappeared. There was a brief silence, then one of the golfers yelled “you made a Hole-In-One!”, then we all started celebrating and high-fives. It was my first and my wife was also stunned to witness the event. This is really special for my wife to be the part event for this is my first and hopefully more to come!
