Not a hole in one but rarer than that so I hope this qualifies. I had an Albatross at Collindale Golf Course on 4/26/22 using a 2021 ProV1 on the 552-yard Par 5 4th hole. I had a 2 on a 5! It is a dogleg left hole that is nearly impossible to reach in two based on the layout let alone sink the 2nd shot. It was actually a cold day and had a 9 mph wind in my face and the hold is uphill about 10-12 feet. I hit my Titleist TSi3 driver using a 2021 Titleist ProV1 334 years up the right side of the fairway, but it rolled slightly into the rough behind two trees. I could see the pin by crouching down under the pine trees off to the left. I had 218 to the pin and a creek protecting the green about 100 yards out with two 100+ year old cottonwood trees to get around at the creek. Water in front of me and water to the right where the pond is. I had about 3-3.5 feet from the ground to the first set of branched. Rather than punching out and getting to the hole in 3 I pulled out my Titleist AP2 5 iron and figured why not give it a go. Due to the lie, the trees, and the water my only option was to hit a stinger to stay under the trees but still get over the creek. I tell you, the sound of that glorious ProV1 hitting the sweet spot of that 5 iron didn't even make a sound because of how pure I flushed it. Due to the trees, I knew I wouldn't be able to see when the ball landed so I had the other three people in our group (2 of which were paired with us and didn't know them prior) watch my ball so I didn't lose it if it came out hot. Boy did it! Pin was 218 from where I was and took one hop and in the cup. What made it better is the head of the course happened to be on the hole right behind our green playing and he went nuts. Took me a second to comprehend it was not an eagle in 3 but rather an Albatross in 2! The pro shop gave me a flag to commemorate the memory. First person as far as everyone working at the course knows of to get an Albatross on the hardest hole on that course.

So, no it was not a hole in one but I would argue that the feeling as the result was just as good or better with the 2nd shot being much longer in than an average par 3 alone!
